Putting On the Boot

Initial Preparation
1. Release all air from boot
   - Press the minus button
   - Squeeze sides of boot
   - Ensure all air is expelled

Proper Placement
1. Slide foot into boot
2. Ensure heel is:
   - All the way down
   - Completely back
   - Properly positioned for stability

Securing the Boot
1. Fasten velcro closure
2. Thread three straps through slots
3. Tighten straps firmly
4. Optional: Add extra padding on top of foot if needed

Final Adjustment
1. Press pump button to add air
2. Continue until comfortable
3. Air bladders will protect ankle bones
4. Adjust air level based on dressing needs

Removing the Boot

Follow these steps in reverse order:
1. Release air (press minus button)
2. Loosen three straps
3. Undo velcro closure
4. Carefully slide foot out

Important Tips

Remember to:
- Always check heel placement
- Maintain proper strap tension
- Adjust air pressure for comfort
- Release air before next use

Special Considerations

For post-operative dressings:
- Less air may be needed
- Adjust padding as necessary
- Ensure dressing remains undisturbed
