Initial Fitting

1. Loosen the brace completely
2. Slide foot into brace
3. Ensure tongue is pulled up fully
4. Position heel through designated opening
5. Tighten laces comfortably but not too tight
   - Should be snug without cutting off circulation

Strap Application

For Lateral (Outside) Ankle Problems:
1. Apply outer strap first
2. Cross under arch
3. Secure firmly

For Medial (Inside) Ankle Problems:
1. Apply inner strap first
2. Cross under arch
3. Pull foot inward while securing

Final Steps:
- Apply remaining straps in appropriate order
- Add top strap to secure everything in place

- Restrict side-to-side motion
- Provide both lateral and medial stability
- Support ankle during healing
